Been hunting professionally for years, but never got the paper?
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) lets experienced hunters have their existing skills and knowledge formally assessed against the national qualification — SAQA 58930: Further Education and Training Certificate in Professional Hunting (NQF Level 4, 133 credits) — without sitting through coursework you’ve already lived.
Limpopo Wildlife Eco College is accredited by CATHSSETA • QCTO • LEDET, with CATHSSETA-registered assessors, and has trained hunters and guides since 1995.
Important: enrolment against SAQA 58930 closes nationally on 30 June 2028. If you’ve been meaning to formalise your qualification, this is the window.
What will I need? Our free RPL Learner Guide lists every document — firearm competency, licences, permits, reference letters, photo evidence and more — so you can start gathering your portfolio today.
