About these terms
These terms govern your use of the Limpopo Wildlife Eco College website and our online courses. By creating an account or enrolling in a course, you accept them. Our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information, forms part of these terms.
Your account
You agree to provide accurate information when registering, to keep your login details safe, and not to share your account. Your certificates are issued in the name on your account, so please register with your real name.
Our courses and qualifications
Limpopo Wildlife Eco College offers both accredited, credit-bearing programmes and introductory online courses.
Accredited programmes are registered qualifications and skills programmes. They are credit-bearing, formally assessed, and subject to the rules of the relevant accreditation and quality-assurance bodies. The description of an accredited programme on this website is information, not an enrolment contract — formal enrolment follows our application and admission process, during which requirements, fees and assessment rules are confirmed in writing.
Introductory online courses are short courses offered through this website. Unless the course page expressly states otherwise, they are non-credit-bearing, and successful completion earns a certificate of completion carrying a unique verification ID. Each course page states what the course is and what its certificate represents.
Course materials
All course materials — lessons, manuals, images, videos and quizzes — are the copyright of Limpopo Wildlife Eco College or used with permission. They are provided for your personal study only. You may not copy, share, sell or republish them without our written permission.
Fees and refunds
Online courses that are free are clearly marked as free. Where a course carries a fee, the price and any refund terms are stated before you enrol.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website: no false information, no attempts to access other users’ accounts or data, no unlawful, abusive or infringing content in comments or coursework, and no interference with the operation of the site. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Practical and field activities
Some of our training includes practical work in a wildlife environment. Such activities are governed by the college’s separate enrolment documents, safety rules and indemnities, which are provided and signed before participation.
No guarantee of outcomes
We teach to recognised standards, but registration with any authority, employment, or professional licensing depends on requirements set by third parties, and we cannot guarantee those outcomes.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time; the date above shows the current version. Questions about these terms can be sent through the Contact page. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
